Introduction to Magazine cover conventions

1) List the three most important magazine cover conventions in your opinion and explain why for each one.

The central image and film title being the main attraction for the target audience

The colour of the magazine for example vibrate colours this stands out to the audience because it is eye catching 

2) Identify as many of the magazine cover conventions as you can and write a list of where they appear on this cover of Closer.
 
It has loads of colours and pictures to draw the attention to the audience and it has lots of writing on the front cover of the magazine to make the audience want to read it also it has some picture and articles of everyday people which some of the audience can relate to

    Hi Rishi
    This is not really good enough for GCSE standard. Look again at the questions. THREE most important conventions (features) and you have talked about 'film title' which is confusing as this is about magazines!

    Also, you need to go through all the conventions from the sheet and talk about each one. Be specific - don't just say 'loads of colours' but say 'the colour pink is dominant and this connotes...' Also don't say 'some pictures and articles which some people relate to' - add WHAT pictures and WHAT articles and WHICH type of people would relate and then this would be a much better answer.
