 1) What key conventions of print adverts can you find and what are the connotations or deeper meanings of each convention?

The key conventions of prints adverts is the Logo Pictures background slogan and the colour scheme

2) For each convention, write about how it might appeal to a target audience. 

The logo might appeal to the audience because it is big and eye catching
The pictures might appeal to the audience because it reminds us about the product
The background might appeal to the audience because it has light blue to show us that the product is out of this world because the colour blue represents the sky
The slogan might appeal to the audience because if it catchy they will want the product
The colours scheme might appeal to the audience because it will make they stop and look

3) What is the USP (unique selling point) for Skittles and how do you know?
  
The unique selling point for skittles are taste the rainbow because the product has a colourful  colour scheme which represents a rainbow .
